Gastric Balloon

Gastric balloon surgery is a minimally invasive weight loss procedure that places a soft, expandable balloon inside the stomach. The balloon is inserted through the mouth using an endoscope and then filled with saline to partially fill the stomach. The goal is to reduce food intake by creating a feeling of fullness, supporting patients in losing weight and adopting healthier eating habits. The balloon is temporary and is usually removed after about six months.
